How many dogs are walked at any one time?
Currently, I only offer on a single household basis, so if you have 1-3 dogs, I can accommodate these and will be the only dog(s) walked at one time. I will consider group walks in the future as I get to know the pets better.
Will I meet my dog walker?
Yes, I offer a free consultation to meet you and your pets to get to know them, their needs, and personalities. This will also offer you a chance to ask any questions you may have.
Do you arrange picking up and dropping off the dogs?
Yes, I am fully insured to transport your dogs. Times will be arranged to suit you.
Are you insured?
I am fully insured, which includes key cover! Please ask for a copy of our certificate.
Do I need to be home when you collect or drop off my dog?
Most clients are comfortable sharing a set of keys to enable me to collect and drop off if you aren’t home.
Do you do off-hours walking?
I do, and this can be discussed.
What do I do if I need to cancel?
Please contact me, and no charge will apply if more than 24hours' notice is given.
What do you do in case of an emergency?

In the unlikely event of an emergency, I will immediately call and notify you. In the original consultation, i ensure that we have all the family emergency contact details. If veterinary assistance is needed, i will take your dog to your named vet or, depending on the circumstances, to the nearest possible one.
Will my dog be supervised at all times?

Yes. Your dog will be under constant supervision and will NEVER be left unattended.
Where do you walk?

We are lucky to have many walking destinations on our doorstep. We can discuss locations your dog likes and things they seem to prefer or dislike to be able to pick the best locations for them.

My dog has not been spayed or neutered. Can he/she still be walked?
​
This can be discussed in the initial consultation; each dog will be considered separately, but we reserve the right to refuse any dog.

Do you take bitches in season?
Unfortunately, I am unable to offer walks to a bitch in season.

What security measures do you have?
​
Your key will be kept secure and away from personal information, and no key can be identifiable to any property. In the event of your key being lost or stolen, we will advise you immediately. Your personal information will never be sold or discussed with any 3rd parties in accordance with the Data Protection Act.

Do you offer your services on the weekends and bank holidays?
​
Yes, for regular clients, however, this may impact our price structure. Please contact us for details.

How do you transport the dogs to the walk location?

I have a large boot with a dog guard and air conditioning or heating, depending on the weather.

I only require occasional walks for my dog, not every week or every day. Can you help?

Yes. I am happy to provide services as and when you require, assuming we have diary availability. I recommend that you give as much notice as possible.

My dog can be aggressive with other dogs or people, and he must wear a muzzle. Can you still walk them?
​
Each dog is considered on an individual basis. I would recommend a walk with the owner to assess the aggression to determine if I can meet the dog's needs.

Do you have a veterinarian background?
​
I don’t But I am Canine first aid trained. I always carry a doggy first aid kit with me.
Would you stay overnight at a customer's home to care for dogs?
Unfortunately, this is not a service I offer.
We just got a puppy and we both work, what services do you provide for a puppy?
I offer puppy packages please contact me to discuss.
Can dogs stay with you?
Unfortunately, this is not a service I offer, and I don’t have the facilities.
What happens in bad weather?
We get wet and muddy and enjoy ourselves. Extreme weather, i.e., snow, extreme heat, will be determined at the time. Safety for your dog is my number one priority.
Do you walk dogs off the lead?
Every dog is treated individually. If a dog has good recall and no shown aggression, walks are tailored to them. If your dog is a little rusty on recall, I have long training leads to allow them to run. We can discuss each dog's individual needs and tailor to them.
Can you administer my pet’s medication?
I am happy to administer medication for your pet(s), in accordance with your written and signed instructions.
Do your services cater to all dog breeds?
I take each dog on its own merit and not on the reputation of particular breeds. I meet all dogs before we walk them, and each new dog is subject to a trial period. Any instances of aggressive behaviour will be investigated, and I reserve the right to refuse to walk any dog.
When are you available to walk my dog?
I will be offering Monday to Saturday walks. Bank holidays and Sundays can be discussed, and extra charges may apply.
